Glenn Prangnell

Groovy Uncle first recorded at Ranscombe in January 2014 when we began work on our 4th album, “Persuaded”.
From the word go it was obvious the process was going to be a lot of fun and it certainly was. Jim is totally dedicated to his work and has great technical/musical knowledge and intuition as does engineer Brendan Esmonde.
Our first Ranscombe recording to be released (prior to the album) was the single “Barefoot In The Car Park”/”Wet Weekend” on the State Records label. This has gained a lot of airplay (particularly in the USA) and Stevie Van Zandt named “Barefoot…” Coolest Song In The World as well as his “Song of the Summer 2014”.
He has (along with many others) heaped praise on not only the performances but also the production of Ranscombe Studios.
Needless to say we will be back there very soon to begin work on our next album!
Glenn
